What team does Dominik Szoboszlai play for?

On 2 July 2023, Liverpool announced that they had signed Szoboszlai on a five-year contract, subject to a work permit, after triggering his release clause reportedly worth up to £60 million. Dominik Szoboszlai, a professional football player from Hungary who was born on October 25, 2000, first played as a midfielder for Leipzig before joining Liverpool. He now serves as Hungary’s national team captain.

Szoboszlai made his parent club debut in January 2018 and started the 2018–19 season as a starter.After three seasons, he assisted his team in capturing three league championships and two domestic cups.

The new Liverpool man became the most expensive football player in Hungary’s history in January 2021 when he signed with RB Leipzig for an estimated €20 million.

In his three seasons at the club, he helped his side win two DFB-Pokal titles before he was signed by Liverpool this summer.
