Clash at the Castle 2024:

Feeding off the crowd energy, Drew McIntyre came out of the gate firing on all cylinders, getting Damian Priest outside of the ring and flying over the top rope to take him out. There was a big botch when Priest tried to jump off the ring but he got his foot caught in the ropes in what looked like could’ve been a dangerous misstep.

  3. Bayley vs. Piper Niven (Women’s World Championship)
  4. Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill vs. Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn vs. Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark (Women’s Tag Titles)
  5. Sami Zayn vs. Chad Gable (Intercontinental Championship)

It was obvious Priest was injured in the mistake and he was hobbling for the rest of the match.It took awhile for things to settle down but once it did, McIntyre and Priest traded blows for minutes. McIntyre was the one that was able to get the upper hand and went for his first claymore, but Priest countered it with a chokeslam. Priest went for the pin and McIntyre kicked out. Somehow after taking a hurricanrana off the top rope, McIntyre recovered quickly for a claymore. Priest kicked out of the pin.

Cody Rhodes vs. AJ Styles (I Quit, WWE Title)

  1. Styles’ new music feels so lifeless. 
  2. Rhodes signing autographs on the way to the ring was a cool moment. The way Rhodes knocked Styles to the floor with a running dropkick was awesome. 
  3. WWE left in a placeholder graphic instead of using one for Rhodes during his into. 
  4. The brainbuster on the announce table was nuts. 
  5. The chain on the handcuffs was easily over a foot long. 
  6. Belair and Cargill vs. Fyre and Dawn vs. Baszler and Stark (Women’s Tag Titles)
  7. The Bloodline attacked Rhodes after his match until Randy Orton and Kevin Owens made the save. 
  8. Cargill lost her gear in her travel bag but still looked like a million bucks with what she ended up using. 
  9. Cargill overpowering Fyre and Stark at the same time was a cool moment. 
  10. Cargill tried to springboard into the ring and ended up slipping on the top rope. 
  11. Zayn got a good pop during his entrance. 
  12. One of the loudest pops during the match was for Zayn simply talking to Otis. 
  13. It took more effort than usual for Zayn to clothesline Gable out of the ring. 
  1. You could see a lot of emotion on Niven’s face during her entrance. 
  2. Green always looks like she is having the time of her life. 
  3. Bayley landed on her tailbone instead of her back during a suplex. It looked painful. 
  4. It was nice hearing Roddy Piper’s theme again. 
  5. McIntyre’s dive over the top rope was fun. 
  6. The way Priest got his foot hung up on the top rope looked painful as he was dangling from the ring.
