Crisis-hit company hosts twenty hour long Zoom meeting: An Indian company facing a corporate crisis has held a 20-hour long Zoom meeting. Deepinder Goyal, chief executive of Indian food delivery service Zomato, told the NDTV media company there was a lot to discuss. Speaking as he picked up an award for Entrepreneur of the Year, Goyal said the call took place after plans to launch a vegetarian-only food delivery service, with distinctively coloured branding, met with a backlash. Critics took to social media to lambast the Pure Veg Fleet idea over potential associations with modern-day casteism and practical complications. Senior executives at Zomato may have got off lightly, however, as it turns out the maximum permitted duration of a Zoom meeting, with a paid licence, is 30 hours.
