Elvish Yadav latex news? Elvish Yadav, the 26-year-old YouTube, who was arrested by the Noida Police and sent to judicial custody on Sunday in connection with the snake venom case, has reportedly confessed to the crime. This comes a month after samples were collected from a rave party in Noida last year, which confirmed use of venom of Cobra and Krait snake species as drugs. Five people who were arrested last year after the police busted the snake smuggling racket in Noida Sector 51 told the police that used to supply snake venom at rave parties organised by Yadav. The case was registered under provisions of the Wildlife (Protection) Act and the Indian Penal Code. Let us first look at the case. ‘People for Animals’ NGO by Maneka Gandhi filed a complaint against Yadav and five others for allegedly providing snake venom at a party in Noida. They conducted a sting operation in which they asked Yadav to organise a rave party and get Cobra venom. On November 2, Yadav along with five others, including snake charmers, were arrested under the Wildlife (Protection) Act and Section 120A (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC for providing snake venom for recreational use. The police recovered snakes from the possession of the five arrested accused — Rahul, Titunath, Jayakaran, Narayan, and Ravinath. The police also found a video of Elvish Yadav with two snakes. Yadav, who had earlier denied any involvement in the case, told the police that Bollywood singer Fazilpura had arranged the reptiles. He also told media that he has no connection to the rave parties, and the snakes belonged to a production house. According to Localbuzz, Yadav is popular for his comic timing and digital content. Popularly called as ‘Rao Sahab’, Yadav is from Gurgaon, Haryana, and has a net worth of Rs 7 crore. He attended Amity International School in Gurgaon for his early education and then pursued Bachelor of Commerce from Hans Raj College in Delhi. His father, Ram Avtar Singh Yadav, worked as a lecturer, while his mother, Sushma Yadav, is a homemaker. Snake venom is allegedly used to induce intoxication among people, especially at rave parties. It does not typically produce an alcohol-like high, but can induce symptoms that could have effects on the nervous system and other psychological processes. Due to neurotoxins present in the snake venom can affect the neurotransmission, which reportedly remains for six to seven days. This form of addiction is called ophidism, which could be life-threatening. The snake is injected with chemicals to make the venom more effective, and then the addicts are deliberately bitten by the reptile on the tongue or the lips. The neurotoxins in the venom target the nervous system and affect the transmission of the nerve signals, which can lead to muscle weakness, paralysis and a changed mental state. The venom also affects the muscarinic receptors, which a key role in psychological processes such as memory enhancement and learning. According to a paper published on the Indian Journal of Physiology and Pharmacology online, there are some psychological characteristics that snake venom could induce: High levels of sensation, low harm avoidance, impulsivity, high energy and excitement and stimulation (on multiple use), openness in expression and neuroticism. A 2021 study published in the Indian Journal of Physiology and Pharmacology reveals that up to 60% of all snakebites are dry. Researchers have found that the psychotropic properties of cobra venom partially resemble the action of morphine. When snake venom gets into the bloodstream, it releases chemicals such as serotonin, bradykinin, and other substances that act slowly. Some of these chemicals can have effects on a person’s mind like making you feel sleepy or calm, the study explained. According to a study by the ‘National Institutes Of Health’ on ‘Snake Venom Use As A Substitute For Opioids’, spiny-tailed lizards’ burnt lizard carcasses, toxic honey, Spanish flies and cantharides are also used for doping purposes at rave parties as per the study by the Indian Journal of Physiology and Pharmacology.
