Elina Svitolina’s personal life has been of great interest to her fans, especially since she’s with a tennis Pro. She is married to former World No. 6 Gael Monfils of France. The couple started allegedly dating in 2018 but publicly announced their relationship only in 2019. The couple announced their engagement on April 3, 2021, which came as a shocker to their fans.

Months prior, they had announced their separation but eventually got back together and decided to tie the knot. The Frenchman made the announcement via Instagram captioning the photo “Last day as my fiancé”. Svitolina and Monfils married on 16th July 2021.

Monfils was considered a teen prodigy when he burst onto the tennis scene. He is a former World No. 1 in Juniors and went on to win the junior events at Australian Open, French Open, and Wimbledon in 2004, a rare feat. The same year, he turned Pro and has been active on the ATP Tour every year since then being one of the most loved players out there.
