Barcelona forward Luis Suárez overtook Ladislau Kubala to claim third spot on the club’s all-time goalscoring list on Wednesday. Suárez leapfrogged Kubala with his 195th goal for Barça in 278 appearances in last night’s 1-0 win over city rivals Espanyol

The 33-year-old forward broke the deadlock in the 56th minute to move the blaugranas within a point of leaders Real Madrid, while relegating Espanyol.

Suárez already eclipsed Josep Samitier‘s 184 goals in October, and now only has two players above him – Lionel Messi, who is on 630, and César, who scored 232 for the club.
