The Pakistan vs Afghanistan series has been confirmed to take place in March 2023 in Sharjah. The Pakistan vs Afghanistan (PAK vs AFG) series is a bilateral series and both teams will play 3 T20 matches in the first phase without ODI or Test matches. Afghanistan tour of Pakistan Overview
The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has announced the schedule for the upcoming T20I series against Pakistan. The series will be played in Sharjah, UAE, from March 24 to 27. This marks the beginning of Afghanistan’s international home season 2023-24, with the first game on March 24, followed by the second and third games on March 26th and 27th, respectively, all at the same venue.
ACB Chairman Mr. Mirwais Ashraf expressed his appreciation for the Pakistan Cricket Board’s willingness to play Afghanistan in March. He hopes to extend ties with PCB, strengthen their team, and continue frequent cricketing assignments with them. Mr. Najam Sethi, Chair of PCB Management Committee, is delighted with the strong and cordial relationship between the two boards and the passion for cricket in both countries.
Despite playing several times in ACC and ICC events in recent years, this will be the first time the two countries meet in a three-match T20I series. The upcoming international series is expected to demonstrate the highest levels of performance and entertain passionate cricket-loving crowds.
