‘The League Of Love And Hate’ is an annual survey carried out by tens and thousands of supporters from Premier League, Championship, League One, and League Two teams.
They decide who is the most popular among their fanbase and who is the most loathed.
According to a recent tweet from Twitter user Chris Whiting the findings have been released and there are some controversial choices, to say the least.
Starting with the Premier League and it appears Manchester United’s three main rivals are Liverpool (88%), Manchester City (66%), and Chelsea (43%) while Leeds and Arsenal make up the top five. Meanwhile, Arsenal’s main three rivals are Tottenham (87%), Manchester United (62%), and Chelsea (62%) while Stoke and Liverpool follow behind.
But perhaps the biggest surprise in the table is Liverpool’s main three rivals.
Local rivals Everton miss out on gold, silver, and bronze medal places as Manchester United (84%), Chelsea (43%), and Manchester City (39%) head the list while The Toffees come in fourth behind Arsenal.
