Why are there only 3 episodes of The Summer I Turned Pretty season 2?

Fans shouldn’t be worried because there are only three episodes in the sophomore season of The Summer I Turned Pretty. In the following weeks, the Amazon-owned streamer will drop more installments. Unlike Netflix, which usually releases all the episodes at once so subscribers can binge-watch the show, Prime Video follows a more traditional release schedule. Most Prime Video shows premiere with two or three episodes, depending on how long the season is.

The release schedule features new weekly installments until the season finale on August 11, 2023.
